Manual for drawing designs: Bearing bars sustain load- concentrated (in anchor point) or evenly spread (over entire grating/m2). Charts of load-bearing you can find on our website. They are qualified by hight and thickness(25x2mm, 30x2mm and other) according to load amount meant for a tread to sustain. Crucial matter in determination of height and thickness of bearing bar is “bright or clean holes-span) and anchor dimensions that are planned ( pipes, profiles..). Cross bars are twisted to sustain great friction and prevent slipping (anti-slip nosing). Sidebars surround and bolt gratings, in most common cases they are the same dimension with the main carriers, however, they can also be significantly bigger- special bar called “kick-plate” which prevents foot to slip over the grating’s edge (picture-Grating bolted by a bar with the same dimension as main carriers), gratings bolted by a bigger bar kick-plate). In the picture is an example of a grating 1500mmx550mm- bearing bar is 40x3mm and it MAST be settled on anchors(coloured green). Capacity is calculated according to “clean hole” ( entire grating’s dimension lessened by the amount of loading on anchor) in this case it is meant for pedestrians. ATTENTION: first dimension always stands for course of a bearing bar, while second stands for width and it mast have anchors. Symbol for bearing bar is: ↔.
Gratings are being attached to construction by attaching elements: Single fixing clip and double fixing clip. In most common cases we produce clips with adequate frames made of L-profiles, the picture showing application you can find bellow.
Your request you can send to our email addresses in several ways: as a drawing with dimensions, specifications of gratings, preferably in dwg format (picture no 1), as a text specification of type and dimensions of reads (picture 2), as well as combining both ways. For simpler quests you may also want to contact us by phone and tell us directly your demands: tread dimensions, tread hight (in case you are limited by surrounding concrete or prior installed profiles, grating capacity and what kind of supporting anchor you already have or at least you plan to install. Having completed all these steps you will be sent an offer with all relevant information to make a decision, including technical drawings of desired treads, stairs and fences. Furthermore, you will be sent a picture of our previously delivered installations. Also, you will be provided with all the necessary certificates and origin declaration in case of export requirements. After the installation has been made, basic or galvanized, it is possible to arrange delivery with our trucks. We utilize two trucks with 5 and 2 tones capacity. LOAD TABLE: In the attachment are four pdfs, 4 load tables for this type of grating: load table for SP-A tread with a mesh 34x38mm (most common mesh). Load table for SP-A treads with a mesh 25x76. Load table for SP-A treads with a mesh 41x100. Load table for SP-A treads with a mesh 30x100.
